Kelly Yeomans
She killed herself on September 28 , 1997 . Kelly Yeomans was born May 22 ,1984 , the reason why she committed suicide is because she was being harassed about her weight . She attended Merrill Academy where she got bullied , she was of a British background . Yeomans killed herself by overdosing on painkillers . She was 13 years old . She was found dead in her bedroom by her father and sister after taking an overdose of painkillers. Yoemans was described as a friendly and pleasant girl.
Yoeman`s mom always complained to the school about this situation about 30 times but they didn`t do anything about it . At Yoeman`s house they threw eggs and mud after this happened Kelly didn`t want her family to know about her. She was telling her family to leave her alone . Later that day she was found dead on her bedroom by her sister and father.
This could`ve been solved a different way such as when Kelly`s mom tried to tell them that they were bullying her daughter the people in charged should`ve talked to the people who were being mean to her . Another thing that should have been done is Kelly is tell her parents the amount of pain she was going through . Kelly`s parents never really thought about Kelly taking her own life but the parents also should have told her that what other say should not affect her . If I was in Kelly`s place i would have looked for help , or try to stand up for myself .
I have never meant someone who has ever been bullied . But if i ever do know someone is going to take their life I would try my best to try to save that persons life . Another thing I`ll do is try to tell an adult that what the person is going through , or try to listen to what`s is going through on their life and try to give the person some advice . Many people who are being bullied don`t like talking about it because they are scared but if anyone reading this is getting bullied just know there`s is nothing wrong about speaking out or telling someone . The person you tell can help you out and get you the help you need that Kelly Yeoman didn`t get .
Anger/Anger Management
Anger is a strong annoyance or displeasure . You can feel this type of anger towards someone or something . An example can be if someone can take a joke a little to far or pass the boundaries . Also when other people are being selfish like when my sister has money and she doesn`t want to buy me a ice cream and when I have money I have to buy her something . Anger management is a course that you take when you have anger issues . An example is when someone asks you something to do in a polite way and you feel anger . Many ways you can prevent this from happening is don`t think awful thoughts .
One example can be is taking deep but deep breathes so you can clam yourself . Another example can be squishing stress balls , 99% can help you release stress while playing with stress balls . Last example can be counting down to 10-1 by the time you reach 1 you have calmed down . Repeating phrases such as , "calm down " and "relax" .
Finally , two ways to control you anger is thinking before you speak and once you calm down talk it out .The reason as to why you must think before you speak when you are mad is because you might hurt someones feelings . Talking about why you were mad might help prevent getting mad about the same thing later . One thing i do when i get mad is go for a walk because i need fresh air . Another thing i do is go to sleep because i can wake up thinking different then before i was mad .
